Features

  • Capture method, bot: the Fireflies.ai Notetaker joins as a participant on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams; the help center lists three ways to invite it: Auto-Join Settings, Manual Calendar Invite, or Add to Live Meeting (help center, 2026-10-03). The pricing page lists "Record Zoom, Gmeet, MS teams, 10+" in the comparison table (pricing page, 2026-10-03).
  • Capture method, bot-free: the desktop app (macOS and Windows) can record using the computer system audio with no Notetaker joining; the help center states this method "does not save audio or video files" (help center, 2026-10-03).
  • Capture method, Chrome extension (Google Meet only, no bot) and mobile app for iOS and Android, described as suited to in-person recordings (help center, 2026-10-03).
  • Consent options on the bot-free desktop recording: an audio consent message, a meeting chat message (Mac only) and an "AI Taking Notes" watermark on your camera; the help center says that if you disable a consent or notification option you are responsible for informing participants (help center, 2026-10-03).
  • Transcripts, summaries, search across meetings and an AI assistant called AskFred; conversation intelligence such as talk-time tracking and topic trackers is listed on the homepage (2026-10-03).
  • Language statement on the pricing page FAQ (2026-10-03): "We also support Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and 100+ other languages in beta".
  • Homepage statements (2026-10-03): "95% Accurate" and "100+ Languages". The pricing page FAQ says English is the primary supported language and lists other languages as beta. These are vendor claims; Anavem did not test them.
  • File uploads (MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A) and dialer sources such as Aircall and RingCentral are listed on the homepage (2026-10-03).

Limitations

  • The help center article on joining and recording says video recording needs the Business plan or higher, while the pricing page lists video recording from Pro; check the live pricing page for the plan you need (help center and pricing page, 2026-10-03).
  • The Free plan has storage of 400 minutes per team (pricing page, 2026-10-03); the vendor blog says you cannot view new meetings until you delete older ones once the cap is exceeded (pricing blog, published July 10, 2026).
  • The Chrome extension without a bot works on Google Meet only (help center, 2026-10-03).
  • The Free plan lists "Unlimited transcription*" with an asterisk and "Limited AI summaries" on the pricing page (2026-10-03); the asterisk text was not captured.

  • The pricing page lists Enterprise at $39 per seat per month (annual only) and says to contact the vendor when buying a plan for more than 50 members.
